Join the hydromotion class today

Hydromotion is a gentle aqua class held in the hydrotherapy pools at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre and Learners Pool at Keith Spry Pool. Ideal for those living with health conditions, recovering from injury, or seeking to improve general mobility and wellbeing, this class offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment. 

What to Expect

Using slow, controlled movements in warm water (32–34°C), Hydromotion helps to:

1. Maintain and improve mobility

2. Manage pain and joint discomfort

3. Increase flexibility, and coordination

Hydrotherapy is especially beneficial for individuals with arthritis, osteoporosis, circulation problems, neurological conditions, or limited mobility.

Class Details

Duration: 45 minutes.

Venues: Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre & Keith Spry Pool.

Note: No classes on public holidays.

Booking a Class

Hydromotion is a popular class and can fill quickly - booking ahead is recommended. ClubActive Members: Book via InFlux or the ClubActive app (up to 8 days in advance).

What to Bring

Wear comfortable swimwear. Equipment such as noodles and aqua floats is provided. Facilities include walk-in/wheelchair access ramps, accessible changing rooms, and a lifeguard on duty at all times.
