What to expect

The class is held on the gym floor of the Velodrome, led by Mel. She’ll coach you through a carefully planned circuit. Classes use a range of equipment including the gym weight machines, free weights, floor space, swiss balls and medicine balls, and an array of balance boards.

You’re in great hands with Motion Mel.  Mel Engelbrecht, an internationally qualified & experienced gym and pilates trainer.

You’re inspired to work hard at your own safe pace, with individual modifications suggested along the way. Exercise routines are adjusted over time, giving you the right dose of variety to keep your mind and body stimulated and growing. You are welcome to bring a support person, to be with you during the class for assistance and support.

What to bring and wear

Wear supportive sneakers and clothes that are suitable for getting up and down off the floor and moving around in. Bring a drink bottle and a small towel. All exercise equipment supplied.

If you’ve got time after class, the Bikery cafe onsite is a popular spot for socialising post workout.
