Our campaign invites you to step through the front door and see what they're really like through the experiences of participants and instructors. Discover what to expect, who it’s for, and why it matters. You might just find your next step forward.

Improve your strength and balance

Regular exercise helps to increase your movement and reduce your chances of a fall. A Community Strength and Balance class is a great opportunity to do regular exercise and improve your strength and balance.

Eating healthy to help you stay active

Eating well can help you maintain your strength, balance, and bone density, reducing the chance of having a fall and breaking a bone. It will also support your immune system and prevent infections.

Helping an older adult after a fall

Falls are the most common cause of injury in older adults. A fall can happen anywhere and have serious consequences – not just for the older adult, but also for friends, whānau, and family caring for them. It pays to know what to do if they have a fall.
